POD a print on demand experience

two litle girls and a rope

I want to tell you about this experience of mine because it borders on the far-fetched. Maybe there is an answer to why there is a tendency towards ugliness in the world of design and art today?

Obviously I’m joking, but anyway I’ll tell you about it below:
A few years ago I started for fun to upload printable themes on Spreadshirt, a print-on-demand platform like many others, for a while everything was fine, little earnings but it’s normal, you can’t expect to get rich if all end of the month a free meal at the restaurant arrives and it’s already very positive.

two children and a rope
minimal illustration about childhood, two young figures and a red rope, drawing

But in recent times it has become impossible to upload new graphics as it seems to me that they are exaggerating a bit with the rejection of the uploaded motivs, in fact it seems that they only approve the horrible themes, the beautiful ones they reject with the reason ‘uncertain rights’.
There is no guideline from the platform on what to create, or at least there is no direct communication.

All the graphics are obviously created by me, yet they reject them, I believe that the selection officers do it based on beauty, that is, if it is ugly her made it, if instead it is beautiful it must necessarily be copied or stolen and therefore it let’s ban, I tried to do this test and it actually seems to be like this…ugly=approved, nice=banned.

it’s almost laughable if it weren’t for the fact that it takes me a good half hour to upload each drawing and write the description and metadata, so a very frustrating situation that leaves me with no choice but to stop creating and new nice drawings for Spreadshirt, but only ordinary themes.

Soo sorry!!

It is also for this and other reasons that I am trying to sell prints and clothing print on demand here too, obviously it is only a small test, but if it worked even a little who knows..

If you also have had experiences in this sector, write them below in the comments.
Thank you so much!
